The multitude answered him,“ We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever. How do you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up?’ Who is this Son of Man?”

众人回答他：“我们从律法中听到，基督是永远长存的。你怎么说‘人子必须被举起来’呢？这‘人子’到底是谁？”

眾人回答他：「我們從律法中聽到，基督是永遠長存的。你怎麼說『人子必須被舉起來』呢？這『人子』到底是誰？」

眾曰、我聞律云、基督永存、爾何言人子將見舉乎、此人子誰耶、

眾曰、我聞律云、基督永存、爾何言人子必見舉、人子誰乎、

眾曰、我聞律法云、基督永存、爾何言人子必見舉、此人子為誰、

眾曰：『吾聞諸律法云：「基督永留、」今汝曰：「人子必須被舉」何也？且所謂人子者、誰耶？』

The crowd spoke up,“ We have heard from the Law that the Messiah will remain forever, so how can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this‘ Son of Man’?”

The crowd spoke up.“ The Law tells us that the Messiah will remain forever,” they said.“ So how can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this‘ Son of Man’?”

So the crowd answered him,“ We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”

The crowd responded,“ We understood from Scripture that the Messiah would live forever. How can you say the Son of Man will die? Just who is this Son of Man, anyway?”

Then the crowd replied to him,“ We have heard from the law that the Messiah will remain forever. So how can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The crowd then answered Him,“ We have heard from the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how is it that You say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The people answered Him,“ We have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever; and how can You say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The multitude therefore answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

Then the crowd replied to Him,“ We have heard from the scripture that the Messiah will remain forever. So how can You say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

Then the crowd responded,“ We have heard from the law that the Christ will remain forever. How can you say,‘ The Son of Man must be lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.

“‘“ My servant David will be king over them. They all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.They will dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived. They will dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, forever. David my servant will be their prince forever.

Dominion was given him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away, and his kingdom that which will not be destroyed.

Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind:“ You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.Praise be to Yahweh God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.

Jesus answered them,“ Isn’t it written in your law,‘ I said, you are gods?’

Jesus said to him,“ The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.

“ In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, nor will its sovereignty be left to another people; but it will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it will stand forever.

He will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah.

and I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever.”

The kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole sky, will be given to the people of the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions will serve and obey him.’

Most certainly I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice; and those who hear will live.For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.He also gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is a son of man.

Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying,“ Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”

He was taken away by oppression and judgment. As for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people?

When he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred up, saying,“ Who is this?”

Are you greater than our father, Abraham, who died? The prophets died. Who do you make yourself out to be?”Jesus answered,“ If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.You have not known him, but I know him. If I said,‘ I don’t know him,’ I would be like you, a liar. But I know him and keep his word.Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it, and was glad.”The Jews therefore said to him,“ You are not yet fifty years old! Have you seen Abraham?”Jesus said to them,“ Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM.”

And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”

saying,“ What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him,“ Of David.”He said to them,“ How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,‘ The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?’“ If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”

In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.

But this happened so that the word may be fulfilled which was written in their law,‘ They hated me without a cause.’
