The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

The crowd there heard the voice. Some said it was thunder. Others said an angel had spoken to Jesus.

When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him.

The multitude therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it had thundered: others said, An angel hath spoken to him.

For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection— and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.Then there arose a loud outcry. And the scribes of the Pharisees’ party arose and protested, saying,“ We find no evil in this man; but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God.”

Hear attentively the thunder of His voice, And the rumbling that comes from His mouth.He sends it forth under the whole heaven, His lightning to the ends of the earth.After it a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice, And He does not restrain them when His voice is heard.God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend.

And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.

Have you an arm like God? Or can you thunder with a voice like His?

Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying,“ Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder,“ Come and see.”

Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.

And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of Almighty God when He speaks.
