So the crowd who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying,“ An angel has spoken to Him!”

The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

The crowd there heard the voice. Some said it was thunder. Others said an angel had spoken to Jesus.

Listen closely to the thunder of His voice, And the rumbling that goes out from His mouth.Under the whole heaven He lets it loose, And His lightning travels to the ends of the earth.After it, a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice, And He does not restrain the lightning when His voice is heard.God thunders wondrously with His voice, Doing great things which we do not comprehend.

And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps.

Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His?

So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud over the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.

After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated from his glory.And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird.

Then the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and hurled it to the earth; and there were peals of thunder and sounds, and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder,“ Come!”

And all the people were watching and hearing the thunder and the lightning flashes, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it all, they trembled and stood at a distance.

Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer courtyard, like the voice of God Almighty when He speaks.
