The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

The crowd there heard the voice. Some said it was thunder. Others said an angel had spoken to Jesus.

The crowd that stood there and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said,“ An angel has spoken to him.”

When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him.

The crowd standing there heard it and said it was thunder. Others said,“ An angel has spoken to him.”

So the crowd who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying,“ An angel has spoken to Him!”

Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said,“ An angel has spoken to Him.”

The multitude therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it had thundered: others said, An angel hath spoken to him.

The crowd standing there heard it and said it was thunder. Others said that an angel had spoken to Him.

因為撒都該人認為沒有復活，也沒有天使和靈，而法利賽人認為這些都有。眾人大聲喧嚷，有幾個法利賽派的律法教師站起來爭辯說：「我們找不出這人有什麼錯處，也許真的有靈或天使跟他說過話。」

請仔細聽祂發出的雷聲，聽祂口中發出的轟鳴。祂使閃電劃過整個天空，亮光直照到地極。隨後雷聲隆隆，祂發出威嚴之聲。祂一發聲，雷電交加。上帝發出奇妙的雷聲，我們無法測度祂偉大的作為。

我聽見有聲音從天上傳來，像江河澎湃，像雷霆萬鈞，又像豎琴合奏的聲音。

你有上帝那樣的臂膀嗎？你能像祂那樣發出雷鳴嗎？

到了第三天早晨，山上雷電大作，烏雲密佈，又有嘹亮的號角聲，營中的百姓都膽戰心驚。

那時，天上上帝的聖殿敞開了，殿內的約櫃清晰可見，又有閃電、巨響、雷鳴、地震和大冰雹。

之後，我看見另一位執掌大權的天使從天降下，他的榮光照亮了大地。他用強有力的聲音喊著說：「巴比倫大城倒塌了！倒塌了！她成了鬼魔的住處、各樣污鬼的監獄和一切可憎的不潔鳥獸的牢籠！

天使又拿著香爐，盛滿祭壇的火，將它倒在地上，於是有雷鳴、巨響、閃電和地震。

然後，我看見羔羊揭開七印中的第一印，那時我聽見四個活物中的一個用如雷的聲音說：「來！」

那時雷電交加，號角嘹亮，山上冒煙，百姓看見此情景，都嚇得渾身顫抖，不敢挨近。

基路伯天使展翅的響聲好像全能上帝說話的聲音，在外院也可以聽見。
