The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

The crowd there heard the voice. Some said it was thunder. Others said an angel had spoken to Jesus.

When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder, while others declared an angel had spoken to him.

So the crowd who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying,“ An angel has spoken to Him!”

Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said,“ An angel has spoken to Him.”

The multitude therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it had thundered: others said, An angel hath spoken to him.

因为撒都该人认为没有复活，也没有天使和灵，而法利赛人认为这些都有。众人大声喧嚷，有几个法利赛派的律法教师站起来争辩说：“我们找不出这人有什么错处，也许真的有灵或天使跟他说过话。”

请仔细听祂发出的雷声，听祂口中发出的轰鸣。祂使闪电划过整个天空，亮光直照到地极。随后雷声隆隆，祂发出威严之声。祂一发声，雷电交加。上帝发出奇妙的雷声，我们无法测度祂伟大的作为。

我听见有声音从天上传来，像江河澎湃，像雷霆万钧，又像竖琴合奏的声音。

你有上帝那样的臂膀吗？你能像祂那样发出雷鸣吗？

到了第三天早晨，山上雷电大作，乌云密布，又有嘹亮的号角声，营中的百姓都胆战心惊。

那时，天上上帝的圣殿敞开了，殿内的约柜清晰可见，又有闪电、巨响、雷鸣、地震和大冰雹。

之后，我看见另一位执掌大权的天使从天降下，他的荣光照亮了大地。他用强有力的声音喊着说：“巴比伦大城倒塌了！倒塌了！她成了鬼魔的住处、各样污鬼的监狱和一切可憎的不洁鸟兽的牢笼！

天使又拿着香炉，盛满祭坛的火，将它倒在地上，于是有雷鸣、巨响、闪电和地震。

然后，我看见羔羊揭开七印中的第一印，那时我听见四个活物中的一个用如雷的声音说：“来！”

那时雷电交加，号角嘹亮，山上冒烟，百姓看见此情景，都吓得浑身颤抖，不敢挨近。

基路伯天使展翅的响声好像全能上帝说话的声音，在外院也可以听见。
