And they* sang a new song, saying,“ Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slaughtered, and You purchased people for God with Your blood from every tribe, language, people, and nation.You have made them into a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign upon the earth.”Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands,saying with a loud voice,“ Worthy is the Lamb that was slaughtered to receive power, wealth, wisdom, might, honor, glory, and blessing.”And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,“ To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.”And the four living creatures were saying,“ Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped.

and behold, a voice from the heavens said,“ This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

and a voice came from the heavens:“ You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

Jesus answered,“ It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

He said to Me,“ You are My Servant, Israel, In whom I will show My glory.”But I said,“ I have labored in vain, I have spent My strength for nothing and futility; Nevertheless, the justice due to Me is with the Lord, And My reward is with My God.”And now says the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him( For I am honored in the sight of the Lord, And My God is My strength),He says,“ It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the protected ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”This is what the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One, Says to the despised One, To the One abhorred by the nation, To the Servant of rulers:“ Kings will see and arise, Princes will also bow down, Because of the Lord who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You.”

But when Jesus heard this, He said,“ This sickness is not meant for death, but is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it.”

Jesus* said to her,“ Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”So they removed the stone. And Jesus raised His eyes, and said,“ Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.But I knew that You always hear Me; nevertheless, because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me.”And when He had said these things, He cried out with a loud voice,“ Lazarus, come out!”Out came the man who had died, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus* said to them,“ Unbind him, and let him go.”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given Me, am I not to drink it?”

Therefore when he had left, Jesus* said,“ Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in Him;if God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately.

Then a cloud formed, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud:“ This is My beloved Son; listen to Him!”

And He was saying,“ Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.”

And then a voice came from the cloud, saying,“ This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!”

For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such a declaration as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory:“ This is My beloved Son with whom I am well pleased”—

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice from the cloud said,“ This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him!”

and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven:“ You are My beloved Son, in You I am well pleased.”

so that the multifaceted wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

so that in the ages to come He might show the boundless riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.And this I pray, that your love may overflow still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,so that you may discover the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ;having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God.
