“ Now my soul is deeply troubled. Should I pray,‘ Father, save me from this hour’? But this is the very reason I came!

“我现在心里烦乱，我应该说什么呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离这时刻’吗？然而我正是为了这个缘故来的，要面对这时刻。

“现在我的灵魂烦扰。我该说什么呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离这时刻’吗？但我正是为了这时刻而来的。

「我現在心裡憂傷，說什麼才好呢？求父救我離開這個時刻嗎？然而，我原是為這個時刻來的。

“我現在心裡煩亂，我應該說甚麼呢？說‘父啊，救我脫離這時刻’嗎？然而我正是為了這個緣故來的，要面對這時刻。

『如今我的心極為震盪，我說甚麼好呢？父啊，救我脫離這鐘點哦！然而、是為這緣故、我才到了這鐘點的。

「現在我的靈魂煩擾。我該說什麼呢？說『父啊，救我脫離這時刻』嗎？但我正是為了這時刻而來的。

今我心憂忡、將何言乎、父歟、拯我免於斯時、然我為此而至斯時也、

今我心忡忡、何可言歟、父其救我、免斯時乎、我特為此、至斯時矣、

今我心憂忡、我將何言、父歟、求救我免於斯時乎、然我至斯時、特為此也、

今茲吾靈見擾、尚復何言。父乎！盍免我經歷此時！雖然、此事之臨、正為吾完成使命、

“ Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour.

“ My soul is troubled. What should I say?‘ Father, keep me from having to go through with this’? No. This is the very reason I have come to this point in my life.

“ Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour.

“ Now my soul is troubled. What should I say— Father, save me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour.

“ Now My soul has become troubled; and what am I to say?‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

“ Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say?‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But for this cause came I unto this hour.

“ Now My soul is troubled. What should I say— Father, save Me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour.

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

“ Now my soul is greatly distressed. And what should I say?‘ Father, deliver me from this hour’? No, but for this very reason I have come to this hour.

“ Now my soul is troubled. What shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this time?’ But I came to this time for this cause.

Jesus replied,“ Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory.

While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God.

Save me, O God, for the floodwaters are up to my neck.Deeper and deeper I sink into the mire; I can’t find a foothold. I am in deep water, and the floods overwhelm me.I am exhausted from crying for help; my throat is parched. My eyes are swollen with weeping, waiting for my God to help me.

Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed,“ My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done.”

He prayed more fervently, and he was in such agony of spirit that his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood.

Now Jesus was deeply troubled, and he exclaimed,“ I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me!”

Because God’s children are human beings— made of flesh and blood— the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.

He took Peter, James, and John with him, and he became deeply troubled and distressed.He told them,“ My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”He went on a little farther and fell to the ground. He prayed that, if it were possible, the awful hour awaiting him might pass him by.“ Abba, Father,” he cried out,“ everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

Don’t you realize that I could ask my Father for thousands of angels to protect us, and he would send them instantly?But if I did, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled that describe what must happen now?”

He told them,“ My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying,“ My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

That is why, when Christ came into the world, he said to God,“ You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given me a body to offer.You were not pleased with burnt offerings or other offerings for sin.Then I said,‘ Look, I have come to do your will, O God— as is written about me in the Scriptures.’”First, Christ said,“ You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings or burnt offerings or other offerings for sin, nor were you pleased with them”( though they are required by the law of Moses).Then he said,“ Look, I have come to do your will.” He cancels the first covenant in order to put the second into effect.

But what could I say? For he himself sent this sickness. Now I will walk humbly throughout my years because of this anguish I have felt.

Why didn’t you arrest me in the Temple? I was there every day. But this is your moment, the time when the power of darkness reigns.”

For my life is full of troubles, and death draws near.

Pilate said,“ So you are a king?” Jesus responded,“ You say I am a king. Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.”

He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.

At that time Jesus prayed this prayer:“ O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike.

This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it:“ Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”— and I am the worst of them all.

So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said,“ Father, thank you for hearing me.

When Jesus saw her weeping and saw the other people wailing with her, a deep anger welled up within him, and he was deeply troubled.“ Where have you put him?” he asked them. They told him,“ Lord, come and see.”Then Jesus wept.

“ I have come to set the world on fire, and I wish it were already burning!I have a terrible baptism of suffering ahead of me, and I am under a heavy burden until it is accomplished.
