Therefore, when Jesus looked up and noticed a huge crowd coming toward Him, He asked Philip,“ Where will we buy bread so these people can eat?”He asked this to test him, for He Himself knew what He was going to do.Philip answered,“ Two hundred denarii worth of bread wouldn’t be enough for each of them to have a little.”

Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came and kept crying out,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is cruelly tormented by a demon.”Yet He did not say a word to her. So His disciples approached Him and urged Him,“ Send her away because she cries out after us.”He replied,“ I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”But she came, knelt before Him, and said,“ Lord, help me!”He answered,“ It isn’t right to take the children’s bread and throw it to their dogs.”“ Yes, Lord,” she said,“ yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table!”Then Jesus replied to her,“ Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want.” And from that moment her daughter was cured.

The next day He decided to leave for Galilee. Jesus found Philip and told him,“ Follow Me!”Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the hometown of Andrew and Peter.Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law( and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!”“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Nathanael asked him.“ Come and see,” Philip answered.Then Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said about him,“ Here is a true Israelite; no deceit is in him.”

For I too am a man under authority, having soldiers under my command. I say to this one,‘ Go!’ and he goes; and to another,‘ Come!’ and he comes; and to my slave,‘ Do this!’ and he does it.”Hearing this, Jesus was amazed and said to those following Him,“ I assure you: I have not found anyone in Israel with so great a faith!I tell you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

“ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented in sackcloth and ashes long ago!

When he saw Jesus passing by, he said,“ Look! The Lamb of God!”The two disciples heard him say this and followed Jesus.When Jesus turned and noticed them following Him, He asked them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are You staying?”“ Come and you’ll see,” He replied. So they went and saw where He was staying, and they stayed with Him that day. It was about 10 in the morning.

“ Lord,” said Philip,“ show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”Jesus said to him,“ Have I been among you all this time without your knowing Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say,‘ Show us the Father’?

There was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich.He was trying to see who Jesus was, but he was not able because of the crowd, since he was a short man.So running ahead, he climbed up a sycamore tree to see Jesus, since He was about to pass that way.

For I say that the Messiah became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers,and so that Gentiles may glorify God for His mercy. As it is written: Therefore I will praise You among the Gentiles, and I will sing psalms to Your name.Again it says: Rejoice, you Gentiles, with His people!And again: Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; all the peoples should praise Him!And again, Isaiah says: The root of Jesse will appear, the One who rises to rule the Gentiles; the Gentiles will hope in Him.

For this is the will of My Father: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

He will not argue or shout, and no one will hear His voice in the streets.He will not break a bruised reed, and He will not put out a smoldering wick, until He has led justice to victory.The nations will put their hope in His name.
