看哪，我站在門外叩門，若有聽見我聲音而開門的，我要進到他那裏去，我與他，他與我一起吃飯。

有一大羣猶太人知道耶穌在那裏，就來了，不但是為耶穌的緣故，也是要看耶穌使他從死人中復活的拉撒路。於是眾祭司長商議連拉撒路也要殺了，

耶穌在伯大尼痲瘋病人西門家裏坐席的時候，有一個女人拿着一玉瓶極貴的純哪噠香膏來，打破玉瓶，把膏澆在耶穌的頭上。

他們繼續前行，耶穌進了一個村莊。有一個女人，名叫馬大，接他到自己家裏。她有一個妹妹，名叫馬利亞，在主的腳前坐着聽他的道。馬大伺候的事多，心裏忙亂，進前來，說：「主啊，我的妹妹留下我一個人伺候，你不在意嗎？請吩咐她來幫助我。」主回答說：「馬大，馬大，你為許多的事操心煩惱，但是不可少的只有一件。馬利亞已經選擇了那上好的福分，是沒有人能從她奪去的。」

主人來了，看見僕人警醒，那些僕人就有福了。我實在告訴你們，主人會叫他們坐席，自己束上腰帶，前來伺候他們。

說了這些話，他大聲呼叫說：「拉撒路，出來！」那死了的人就出來了，手腳都裹着布，臉上包着頭巾。耶穌對他們說：「解開他，讓他走！」

利未在自己家裏為耶穌大擺宴席，有一大羣稅吏和別的人與他們一同坐席。

耶穌又對請他的人說：「你準備午飯或晚餐，不要請你的朋友、弟兄、親屬和富足的鄰舍，免得他們回請你，你就得了報答。

耶穌在伯大尼的痲瘋病人西門家裏，

北風啊，興起！南風啊，吹來！吹在我的園內，使其中的香氣散發出來。願我的良人進入自己園裏，吃他佳美的果子。我的妹子，我的新娘，我進入我的園中，採了我的沒藥和香料，吃了我的蜂房和蜂蜜，喝了我的酒和奶。我的朋友，請吃！我親愛的，請喝，多多地喝！
