語畢乃大聲而呼曰：『賴柴魯興矣！』死者應聲而出、手足縛布、面裹巾。耶穌曰：『解之使行！』

理味設盛筵、款耶穌於其家。同席者有稅吏、及其他多人。

耶穌復告主人曰：『爾設宴時、毋邀良朋昆弟戚屬富鄰、誠恐若輩還禮、則爾獲報矣。
