有许多犹太人知道耶稣在那里，就来了，不但是为耶稣的缘故，也是要看他从死里所复活的拉撒路。但祭司长商议连拉撒路也要杀了；

他们走路的时候，耶稣进了一个村庄。有一个女人，名叫马大，接他到自己家里。她有一个妹子，名叫马利亚，在耶稣脚前坐着听他的道。马大伺候的事多，心里忙乱，就进前来，说：“主啊，我的妹子留下我一个人伺候，你不在意吗？请吩咐她来帮助我。”耶稣回答说：“马大！马大！你为许多的事思虑烦扰，但是不可少的只有一件；马利亚已经选择那上好的福分，是不能夺去的。”

主人来了，看见仆人警醒，那仆人就有福了。我实在告诉你们，主人必叫他们坐席，自己束上带，进前伺候他们。

说了这话，就大声呼叫说：“拉撒路出来！”那死人就出来了，手脚裹着布，脸上包着手巾。耶稣对他们说：“解开，叫他走！”

利未在自己家里为耶稣大摆筵席，有许多税吏和别人与他们一同坐席。

耶稣又对请他的人说：“你摆设午饭或晚饭，不要请你的朋友、弟兄、亲属，和富足的邻舍，恐怕他们也请你，你就得了报答。

耶稣在伯大尼长大麻风的西门家里，

北风啊，兴起！南风啊，吹来！吹在我的园内，使其中的香气发出来。愿我的良人进入自己园里，吃他佳美的果子。我妹子，我新妇，我进了我的园中，采了我的没药和香料，吃了我的蜜房和蜂蜜，喝了我的酒和奶。我的朋友们，请吃！我所亲爱的，请喝，且多多地喝！
