The Pharisees therefore said among themselves,“ You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!”

於是法利賽人就彼此說：『可見你們是無濟於事的；你看，世界都去跟着他了！』

於是法利賽人互相說：「可見你們真沒用！看，這世界都跟隨他去了。」

法利賽人相語曰、爾謀一無所濟、舉世皆從之矣、○

𠵽唎㘔人相語曰、爾曹所謀無益、豈不見舉世從之乎、○

法利賽人相語曰、豈不見爾曹所謀、全無益乎、舉世皆從之矣、○

法利塞人因相語曰：『舉世風從、吾其休矣！』

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!”

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ This isn’t getting us anywhere. Look how the whole world is following him!”

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see that you are gaining nothing. Look, the world has gone after him.”

Then the Pharisees said to each other,“ There’s nothing we can do. Look, everyone has gone after him!”

Then the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see? You’ve accomplished nothing. Look, the world has gone after him!”

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see that you are not accomplishing anything; look, the world has gone after Him!”

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Behold how ye prevail nothing; lo, the world is gone after him.

Then the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see? You’ve accomplished nothing. Look— the world has gone after Him!”

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

Thus the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see that you can do nothing. Look, the world has run off after him!”

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves,“ See how you accomplish nothing. Behold, the world has gone after him.”

But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out,“ These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.

All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the Lord, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You.

And they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified— behold, He is baptizing, and all are coming to Him!”

saying,“ What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.”

But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying,“ Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant

Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said,“ What shall we do? For this Man works many signs.If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation.”And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them,“ You know nothing at all,nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.”

And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him,and were unable to do anything; for all the people were very attentive to hear Him.

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them,saying,“ Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!”

that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Those who come He shall cause to take root in Jacob; Israel shall blossom and bud, And fill the face of the world with fruit.

Hear this, all peoples; Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,
