各執椶樹枝出而迎之、呼曰：『賀三納兮義塞王！』奉主名而來兮、堪頌揚！』

So they took branches from palm trees and went out to meet him. They shouted,“ Hosanna!”“ Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!”( Psalm 118:25, 26)“ Blessed is the king of Israel!”

The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,“ Hosanna to the Son of David!”“ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”“ Hosanna in the highest heaven!”When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked,“ Who is this?”The crowds answered,“ This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”

Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields.Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted,“ Hosanna!”“ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”“ Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!”“ Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. Then all nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.

Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days.

and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb:“ Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations.

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees— from palms, willows and other leafy trees— and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

“ This is what the Lord says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God.

“ Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”

Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews.Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek.The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate,“ Do not write‘ The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.Pilate answered,“ What I have written, I have written.”

On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.

The Lord has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm.
