So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him. They began to shout,“ Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!”

取巴勒瑪樹巴勒瑪樹椶類株高而結果果形似棗枝出迎、呼曰、荷撒拿、奉主名而來之以色列王、當稱頌也、

各執椶樹枝出而迎之、呼曰：『賀三納兮義塞王！』奉主名而來兮、堪頌揚！』

They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,“ Hosanna!”“ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”“ Blessed is the king of Israel!”

So they took branches from palm trees and went out to meet him. They shouted,“ Hosanna!”“ Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!”( Psalm 118:25, 26)“ Blessed is the king of Israel!”

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out,“ Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!”

Nathanael answered him,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel!”

Then they brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt, and had Jesus get on it.As he rode along, they spread their cloaks on the road.As he approached the road leading down from the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen:“ Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

The crowds that went ahead of him and those following kept shouting,“ Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”As he entered Jerusalem the whole city was thrown into an uproar, saying,“ Who is this?”And the crowds were saying,“ This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.”

Many spread their cloaks on the road and others spread branches they had cut in the fields.Both those who went ahead and those who followed kept shouting,“ Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”

May his fame endure! May his dynasty last as long as the sun remains in the sky! May they use his name when they formulate their blessings! May all nations consider him to be favored by God!The LORD God, the God of Israel, deserves praise! He alone accomplishes amazing things!His glorious name deserves praise forevermore! May his majestic splendor fill the whole earth! We agree! We agree!

Afterward, the Israelites will turn and seek the LORD their God and their Davidic king. Then they will submit to the LORD in fear and receive his blessings in the future.

They sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb:“ Great and astounding are your deeds, Lord God, the All- Powerful! Just and true are your ways, King over the nations!

After these things I looked, and here was an enormous crowd that no one could count, made up of persons from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with palm branches in their hands.

For I tell you, you will not see me from now until you say,‘ Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

Then they shouted out,“ Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!” Pilate asked,“ Shall I crucify your king?” The high priests replied,“ We have no king except Caesar!”

On the first day you must take for yourselves branches from majestic trees– palm branches, branches of leafy trees, and willows of the brook– and you must rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.

This is what the LORD, Israel’s king, says, their protector, the LORD who commands armies:“ I am the first and I am the last, there is no God but me.

“ Do not be afraid, people of Zion; look, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt!”

Pilate also had a notice written and fastened to the cross, which read:“ Jesus the Nazarene, the king of the Jews.”Thus many of the Jewish residents of Jerusalem read this notice, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the notice was written in Aramaic, Latin, and Greek.Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate,“ Do not write,‘ The king of the Jews,’ but rather,‘ This man said, I am king of the Jews.’”Pilate answered,“ What I have written, I have written.”

He has a name written on his clothing and on his thigh:“ King of kings and Lord of lords.”

The LORD has removed the judgment against you; he has turned back your enemy. Israel’s king, the LORD, is in your midst! You no longer need to fear disaster.
