they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began shouting,“ Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, indeed, the King of Israel!”

取巴勒瑪樹巴勒瑪樹椶類株高而結果果形似棗枝出迎、呼曰、荷撒拿、奉主名而來之以色列王、當稱頌也、

各執椶樹枝出而迎之、呼曰：『賀三納兮義塞王！』奉主名而來兮、堪頌揚！』

They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,“ Hosanna!”“ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”“ Blessed is the king of Israel!”

So they took branches from palm trees and went out to meet him. They shouted,“ Hosanna!”“ Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!”( Psalm 118:25, 26)“ Blessed is the king of Israel!”

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out,“ Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!”

Nathanael answered Him,“ Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel!”

And they brought it to Jesus, and they threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it.Now as He was going, they were spreading their cloaks on the road.And as soon as He was approaching, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen,shouting:“ Blessed is the King, the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

Now the crowds going ahead of Him, and those who followed, were shouting,“ Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!”When He had entered Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying,“ Who is this?”And the crowds were saying,“ This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth in Galilee.”

And many people spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches which they had cut from the fields.And those who went in front and those who followed were shouting:“ Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord;Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David; Hosanna in the highest!”

May his name endure forever; May his name produce descendants as long as the sun shines; And may people wish blessings on themselves by him; May all nations call him blessed.Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.And blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.

Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king; and they will come trembling to the Lord and to His goodness in the last days.

And they* sang the song of Moses, the bond servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;

For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say,‘ Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ”

So they shouted,“ Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!” Pilate* said to them,“ Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered,“ We have no king except Caesar.”

Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and branches of trees with thick branches and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

“ This is what the Lord says, He who is the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of armies:‘ I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.

“ Do not fear, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”

Now Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It was written:“ JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”Therefore many of the Jews read this inscription, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Latin, and in Greek.So the chief priests of the Jews were saying to Pilate,“ Do not write,‘ The King of the Jews’; rather, write that He said,‘ I am King of the Jews.’ ”Pilate answered,“ What I have written, I have written.”

And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written:“ KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

The Lord has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; You will no longer fear disaster.
