“ Rabbi,” the disciples told him,“ just now the Jews tried to stone you, and you’re going there again?”

门徒说：“拉比，犹太人近来要拿石头打你，你还往那里去吗？”

门徒对他说：“拉比，犹太人近来要拿石头打你，你还再到那里去吗？”

门徒说：“老师，犹太人近来想拿石头打你，你还要去那里吗？”

门徒对他说：“拉比，近来犹太人要拿石头打你，你还到那里去吗？”

门徒们说：“拉比，近来犹太人想用石头砸死你，你还再到那里去吗？”

門徒說：「拉比，猶太人近來要拿石頭打你，你還往那裏去嗎？」

門徒對他說：「拉比，猶太人近來要拿石頭打你，你還再到那裏去嗎？」

門徒對他說：「拉比，猶太人近來要拿石頭打你，你還再到那裏去嗎？」

門徒說：「老師，猶太人近來想拿石頭打你，你還要去那裡嗎？」

門徒對他說：“拉比，近來猶太人要拿石頭打你，你還到那裡去嗎？”

門徒對他說：『老師，近今來猶太人正想法子要用石頭打你呢。你再往那裏去麼？』

門徒們說：「拉比，近來猶太人想用石頭砸死你，你還再到那裡去嗎？」

門徒曰、夫子、猶太人方欲以石擊爾、爾尚復往乎、

門徒曰、夫子、曩猶太人欲石擊爾、爾尚復往乎、

門徒曰、拉比、猶太人近欲以石擊爾、爾復欲往彼乎、

徒曰：『猶太人正欲以石磔爾、夫子乃欲再往何也？』

“ But Rabbi,” they said,“ a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you, and yet you are going back?”

“ But Rabbi,” they said,“ a short time ago the Jews there tried to kill you with stones. Are you still going back?”

The disciples said to him,“ Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone you, and are you going there again?”

But his disciples objected.“ Rabbi,” they said,“ only a few days ago the people in Judea were trying to stone you. Are you going there again?”

The disciples* said to Him,“ Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone You, and yet You are going there again?”

The disciples said to Him,“ Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?”

The disciples say unto him, Rabbi, the Jews were but now seeking to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

“ Rabbi,” the disciples told Him,“ just now the Jews tried to stone You, and You’re going there again?”

[ His] disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

The disciples replied,“ Rabbi, the Jewish leaders were just now trying to stone you to death! Are you going there again?”

The disciples asked him,“ Rabbi, the Jews were just trying to stone you. Are you going there again?”

Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone him.

So they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus was hidden and went out of the temple.

Then they were trying again to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.

From then on Jesus began to point out to his disciples that it was necessary for him to go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, be killed, and be raised the third day.Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him,“ Oh no, Lord! This will never happen to you!”Jesus turned and told Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns but human concerns.”

I have taken refuge in the LORD. How can you say to me,“ Escape to the mountains like a bird!For look, the wicked string bows; they put their arrows on bowstrings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart.When the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

But I consider my life of no value to myself; my purpose is to finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God’s grace.
