Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin.“ What are we accomplishing?” they asked.“ Here is this man performing many signs.

So the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the Council and said,“ What are we to do? For this man performs many signs.

Then the leading priests and Pharisees called the high council together.“ What are we going to do?” they asked each other.“ This man certainly performs many miraculous signs.

So the chief priests and the Pharisees convened the Sanhedrin and were saying,“ What are we going to do since this man is doing many signs?

Therefore the chief priests and the Pharisees convened a council meeting, and they were saying,“ What are we doing in regard to the fact that this man is performing many signs?

Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said,“ What shall we do? For this Man works many signs.

So the chief priests and the Pharisees convened the Sanhedrin and said,“ What are we going to do since this man does many signs?

那时，祭司长和百姓的长老聚集在那称为该亚法的大祭司的院里。

这是耶稣所行的第一个神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的，显出了他的荣耀来，他的门徒就信他了。

法利赛人彼此说：“你们看，你们一事无成，世人都随着他去了。”

但是我告诉你们：凡向弟兄动怒的，必须受审判；凡骂弟兄是废物的，必须受议会的审判；凡骂弟兄是白痴的，必须遭受地狱的火。

世上的君王都站稳，臣宰一同算计，要对抗耶和华，对抗他的受膏者：“我们要挣脱他们的捆绑，脱去他们的绳索。”那坐在天上的必讥笑，主必嗤笑他们。

第二天，官长、长老和文士在耶路撒冷聚集，又有亚那大祭司、该亚法、约翰、亚历山大，和大祭司的亲族都在那里。

那时，祭司长和法利赛人早已下令，若有人知道耶稣的下落，就要报告，他们好去捉拿他。

过两天是逾越节，又是除酵节，祭司长和文士在想法子怎样设计捉拿耶稣，把他杀掉。

使徒听了这话，天将亮的时候就进圣殿里去教导人。大祭司和他一起的人来了，叫齐议会的人和以色列人的众长老，然后派人到监牢里去把使徒提出来。

守殿官和祭司长听了这些话，心里困惑，不知这事将来如何。

祭司长和文士在想法子怎样杀害耶稣，因他们惧怕百姓。

到了早晨，众祭司长和百姓的长老商议要处死耶稣，就把他绑着，解去，交给彼拉多总督。

希律和本丢‧彼拉多，同外邦人和以色列民，果然在这城里聚集，要攻打你所膏的圣仆耶稣，做了你手和你旨意所预定必成就的事。

说：“我们当怎样办这两个人呢？因为他们诚然行了一件明显的神迹，凡住在耶路撒冷的人都知道，我们也不能否认。但为避免这事越发在民间传扬，我们必须威吓他们，叫他们不可再奉这名对任何人讲论。”
