Out came the man who had died, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus* said to them,“ Unbind him, and let him go.”

The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them,“ Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

And there was a young man named Eutychus sitting on the window sill, sinking into a deep sleep; and as Paul kept on talking, Eutychus was overcome by sleep and fell down from the third floor, and was picked up dead.But Paul went down and fell upon him, and after embracing him, he said,“ Do not be troubled, for he is still alive.”When Paul had gone back up and had broken the bread and eaten, he talked with them a long while until daybreak, and then left.They took away the boy alive, and were greatly comforted.

I and the Father are one.”

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies,and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Truly, truly, I say to you, a time is coming and even now has arrived, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

And the dead man sat up and began to speak. And Jesus gave him back to his mother.

who will transform the body of our lowly condition into conformity with His glorious body, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.

And He gave them strict orders that no one was to know about this, and He told them to have something given her to eat.

and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Then God said,“ Let there be light”; and there was light.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered,“ Lord God, You Yourself know.”Again He said to me,“ Prophesy over these bones and say to them,‘ You dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’This is what the Lord God says to these bones:‘ Behold, I am going to make breath enter you so that you may come to life.And I will attach tendons to you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin, and put breath in you so that you may come to life; and you will know that I am the Lord.’ ”So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a loud noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.And I looked, and behold, tendons were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.Then He said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath,‘ The Lord God says this:“ Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, so that they come to life.” ’ ”So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.

and he stooped to look in, and* saw the linen wrappings lying there; however he did not go in.

The Lord puts to death and makes alive; He brings down to Sheol and brings up.

Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from death? Death, where are your thorns? Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion will be hidden from My sight.

So they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen wrappings with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews.

For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood firm.

Jesus* said,“ Remove the stone.” Martha, the sister of the deceased,* said to Him,“ Lord, by this time there will be a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
