也看見原來在耶穌頭上的那塊頭巾，沒有與那細麻布條放在一起，被捲了起來，分開放在一邊。

有一個名叫猶圖克斯的年輕人坐在窗臺上，陷入了沉睡。保羅又講論了很久，猶圖克斯在沉睡中從三樓掉了下去，被扶起來的時候，已經死了。保羅下去，伏在他身上，抱著他說：「不要慌亂，他的靈魂還在身上！」保羅再上去，掰餅吃了，又交談了許久，直到天亮才出發。他們把那活生生的年輕人帶走，並且受到了不少的安慰。

我與父是一體的。」

耶穌對她說：「我就是復活，我就是生命。信我的人，即使死了，也將要活。所有活著而信我的人絕不會死，直到永遠。你信這話嗎？」

「我確確實實地告訴你們：時候就要到了，現在就是了！當死人聽見神兒子的聲音時，聽到的人就將活了。

那死人就坐了起來，開始說話。耶穌把他交給他的母親。

他將照著那能使萬有都服從他的力量，改變我們這卑賤的身體，要與他那榮耀的身體相似。

耶穌鄭重地吩咐他們，不要讓任何人知道這事，又吩咐給孩子吃東西。

是那永生的。我曾經死過，可是看哪，我現在活著，直到永永遠遠，並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

神說：「要有光」，就有了光。

因為父怎樣使死人復活，賜他們生命，子也照樣按自己的意願賜人生命。

他彎腰去看，見那細麻布條放在那裡，不過他沒有進去。

耶和華使人死，也使人活；使人下陰間，也使人從那裡上來。

他們領了耶穌的遺體，按猶太人預備葬禮的規矩，用細麻布條和香料把遺體纏裹起來。

因為他說有，就有；命立，就立。

耶穌吩咐：「把石頭挪開。」死者的姐姐瑪妲說：「主啊，他已經發臭了，因為是第四天了。」
