Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live.Everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of his glorious body, by the power that enables him to subject everything to himself.

Then he gave them strict orders that no one should know about this and told them to give her something to eat.

Say to it: This is what the Lord GOD says: Breath, come from the four winds and breathe into these slain so that they may live!”So I prophesied as he commanded me; the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, a vast army.

And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to whom he wants.

Stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in.

The LORD brings death and gives life; he sends some down to Sheol, and he raises others up.

I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death. Death, where are your barbs? Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion is hidden from my eyes.

They took Jesus’s body and wrapped it in linen cloths with the fragrant spices, according to the burial custom of the Jews.
