For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

And they cast him out.

Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.If we let him thus alone, all[ men] will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.And one of them,[ named] Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?But when the Pharisees heard[ it], they said, This[ fellow] doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven,[ saying], I have both glorified[ it], and will glorify[ it] again.The people therefore, that stood by, and heard[ it], said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son[ to be] the propitiation for our sins.

Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father[ is] in me, and I in him.

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
