耶稣听见后却说：“这病不至于死，而是为了神的荣耀，为要使神的儿子藉此得荣耀。”

耶稣对她说：“我不是对你说过，你若信就必看见神的荣耀吗？”

耶稣回答：“既不是这人犯了罪，也不是他的父母，而是要在他身上显出神的作为来。

你们若为基督的名受辱骂是有福的，因为荣耀的灵，就是神的灵，在你们身上。

为要使人都尊敬子，如同尊敬父一样。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差子来的父。

犹大出去后，耶稣说：“如今人子得了荣耀，神在人子身上也得了荣耀。如果神因人子得了荣耀，神也要因自己荣耀人子，并且要立刻荣耀他。

耶稣回答：“我若荣耀自己，我的荣耀就算不了什么；荣耀我的是我的父，就是你们所说的你们的神。

父啊，现在求你使我在你面前得荣耀，就是在未有世界以前，我同你享有的荣耀。

就进到里面，对他们说：“为什么大吵大哭呢？孩子不是死了，是睡着了。”他们就嘲笑耶稣。耶稣把他们都赶出去，带着孩子的父母和跟随的人进了孩子所在的地方，就拉着孩子的手，对她说：“大利大，古米！”翻出来就是说：“女孩，我吩咐你，起来！”那女孩子立刻起来走动—她已经十二岁了；他们就非常惊奇。

这是耶稣所行的第一个神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的，显出了他的荣耀来，他的门徒就信他了。

父啊，愿你荣耀你的名！”于是有声音从天上来，说：“我已经荣耀了我的名，还要再荣耀。”

这就是我所切慕、所盼望的：没有一事能使我羞愧；反倒凡事坦然无惧，无论是生是死，总要让基督在我身上照常显大。

耶稣说了这些话，就举目望天，说：“父啊，时候到了，愿你荣耀你的儿子，使儿子也荣耀你；

你们也因着他而信那使他从死人中复活、又给他荣耀的神，好让你们的信心和盼望都在于神。

那么，我再问，他们失足是要他们跌倒吗？绝对不是！因他们的过犯，救恩反而临到外邦人，要激起他们嫉妒的心。

更靠着耶稣基督结满仁义的果子，归荣耀称赞给神。

若有人讲道，他要按着神的圣言讲；若有人服事，他要按着神所赐的力量服事，好让神在凡事上因耶稣基督得荣耀。愿荣耀和权能都归给他，直到永永远远。阿们！

凡是我的都是你的，你的也是我的，并且我因他们得了荣耀。

于是法利赛人第二次叫了那以前失明的人来，对他说：“你要将荣耀归给神，我们知道这人是个罪人。”
