耶穌聽見了，卻說：『這病不至於死，乃是為了上帝的榮耀，要使上帝的兒子藉着這事而得到榮耀。』

耶穌對她說：『我不是對你說過，你若信，就會看見上帝的榮耀麼？』

耶穌回答說：『也不是這人犯了罪，也不是他父母；乃是要讓上帝的作為在他身上顯出來罷了。

你們若在基督名內受辱罵，是有福的；因為「榮耀」之靈、就是上帝之靈、住在你們身上。

叫人都尊敬子，像尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差他的父。

猶大既出去，耶穌就說：『如今人子得榮耀了；上帝也在人子身上得榮耀了；上帝既在他身上得了榮耀，上帝就要在自己身上榮耀他，並且立刻榮耀他。

耶穌回答說：『我若榮耀我自己，我的榮耀就算不了甚麼。榮耀我的乃是我的父，就是你們所說是你們的上帝的，

如今父啊，求你用未有世界以先我和你同在時所有的榮耀、在你自己面前榮耀我。

就進去，對他們說：『你們為甚麼嚷亂嘈嗷哭泣呢？小孩子並沒死掉，只是睡着。』他們直嗤笑耶穌。耶穌催趕了眾人都出來，就帶着小孩子的父親母親、和跟他同來的人、進了小孩子所在的地方；握住小孩子的手，對她說：『大利大，古米！』翻譯出來就是說：『閨女，起來！』閨女立刻起來，並且走路；她有十二歲了。他們就大大的驚奇。

耶穌在加利利的迦拿行了這頭一件神迹、來顯出他的榮耀；他的門徒就信了他。

父啊，榮耀你的名！』於是有聲音從天上來，說：『我已經榮耀了，還要再榮耀。』

按着我熱切的期待和盼望、在任何事上我都不至於羞愧，倒能以十二分放膽的心、或藉着活、或藉着死、總讓基督在我身體上、現今仍和素常一樣、都被尊為大。

耶穌說了這些話，就舉目望天說：『父啊，鐘點到了，願你榮耀你的兒子，好使兒子也榮耀你。

這藉着他而信靠上帝的人來顯現的。上帝使基督從死人中活了起來，又將榮耀給了他，以致你們的信和盼望都釘住於上帝。

那麼我要說，難道他們猶太人失了腳，是要全然跌倒麼？斷乎不是。我乃是說，因他們的過犯、拯救便臨到了外國人，好激動他們的羨妒。

充滿了那藉着耶穌基督而有的仁義果子，使上帝得到榮耀與稱讚。

若有人宣講，要做講上帝神諭的；若有人作服事的工，要本着上帝所供給的力量；叫上帝在凡事上藉着耶穌基督而得榮耀：榮耀和權能都屬於他、世世無窮。阿們。

（凡是我的都是你的，你的也是我的）；我並且在他們身上得了榮耀。

於是他們第二次把從前瞎眼的人叫來，對他說：『你把榮耀歸與上帝，向他承認吧！我們知道這個人是個罪人。』
