耶穌聽見，就說：「這病不至於死，乃是為神的榮耀，叫神的兒子因此得榮耀。」

耶穌說：「我不是對你說過，你若信，就必看見神的榮耀嗎？」

耶穌回答說：「也不是這人犯了罪，也不是他父母犯了罪，是要在他身上顯出神的作為來。

你們若為基督的名受辱罵，便是有福的；因為神榮耀的靈常住在你們身上。

叫人都尊敬子如同尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬差子來的父。

他既出去，耶穌就說：「如今人子得了榮耀，神在人子身上也得了榮耀。神要因自己榮耀人子，並且要快快地榮耀他。

耶穌回答說：「我若榮耀自己，我的榮耀就算不得甚麼；榮耀我的乃是我的父，就是你們所說是你們的神。

父啊，現在求你使我同你享榮耀，就是未有世界以先，我同你所有的榮耀。

進到裏面，就對他們說：「為甚麼亂嚷哭泣呢？孩子不是死了，是睡着了。」他們就嗤笑耶穌。耶穌把他們都攆出去，就帶着孩子的父母和跟隨的人進了孩子所在的地方，就拉着孩子的手，對她說：「大利大，古米！」（翻出來就是說：「閨女，我吩咐你起來！」）那閨女立時起來走。他們就大大地驚奇；閨女已經十二歲了。

這是耶穌所行的頭一件神蹟，是在加利利的迦拿行的，顯出他的榮耀來；他的門徒就信他了。

父啊，願你榮耀你的名！」當時就有聲音從天上來，說：「我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀。」

照着我所切慕、所盼望的，沒有一事叫我羞愧。只要凡事放膽，無論是生是死，總叫基督在我身上照常顯大。

耶穌說了這話，就舉目望天，說：「父啊，時候到了，願你榮耀你的兒子，使兒子也榮耀你；

你們也因着他，信那叫他從死裏復活、又給他榮耀的神，叫你們的信心和盼望都在於神。

我且說，他們失腳是要他們跌倒嗎？斷乎不是！反倒因他們的過失，救恩便臨到外邦人，要激動他們發憤。

並靠着耶穌基督結滿了仁義的果子，叫榮耀稱讚歸與神。

若有講道的，要按着神的聖言講；若有服事人的，要按着神所賜的力量服事，叫神在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。原來榮耀、權能都是他的，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

凡是我的，都是你的；你的也是我的，並且我因他們得了榮耀。

所以法利賽人第二次叫了那從前瞎眼的人來，對他說：「你該將榮耀歸給神，我們知道這人是個罪人。」
