When Jesus heard it, he said,“ This sickness will not end in death but is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

But when Jesus heard this, He said,“ This sickness is not meant for death, but is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it.”

When Jesus heard that, He said,“ This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

Jesus said to her,“ Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

“ Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” Jesus answered.“ This came about so that God’s works might be displayed in him.

If you are ridiculed for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

so that all people may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

When he had left, Jesus said,“ Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in him.If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself and will glorify him at once.

“ If I glorify myself,” Jesus answered,“ my glory is nothing. My Father— about whom you say,‘ He is our God’— he is the one who glorifies me.

Now, Father, glorify me in your presence with that glory I had with you before the world existed.

He went in and said to them,“ Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child is not dead but asleep.”They laughed at him, but he put them all outside. He took the child’s father, mother, and those who were with him, and entered the place where the child was.Then he took the child by the hand and said to her,“ Talitha koum”( which is translated,“ Little girl, I say to you, get up”).Immediately the girl got up and began to walk.( She was twelve years old.) At this they were utterly astounded.

Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee. He revealed his glory, and his disciples believed in him.

Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven:“ I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”

My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be ashamed about anything, but that now as always, with all courage, Christ will be highly honored in my body, whether by life or by death.

Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven, and said,“ Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you,

Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

I ask, then, have they stumbled so as to fall? Absolutely not! On the contrary, by their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous.

filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

If anyone speaks, let it be as one who speaks God’s words; if anyone serves, let it be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

Everything I have is yours, and everything you have is mine, and I am glorified in them.

So a second time they summoned the man who had been blind and told him,“ Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”
