耶穌聽見，就說：“這病不至於死，而是為了神的榮耀，使神的兒子因此得到榮耀。”

耶穌說：“我不是對你說過‘如果你信，就必定看見神的榮耀’嗎？”

耶穌回答：“不是他犯了罪，也不是他的父母犯了罪，而是要在他身上彰顯神的作為。

你們要是為基督的名受辱罵，就有福了！因為神榮耀的靈，住在你們身上。

使所有的人尊敬子好像尊敬父一樣。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬那差他來的父。

他出去以後，耶穌就說：“現在人子得了榮耀，神也在人子身上得了榮耀，（神既然在人子身上得了榮耀，）（有些抄本無此句）也要在自己身上榮耀人子，並且要立刻榮耀他。

耶穌回答：“如果我榮耀自己，我的榮耀就算不得甚麼；那使我得榮耀的是我的父，就是你們說是你們的神的那一位。

父啊，現在讓我在你自己面前得著榮耀，就是在創世以前我與你同享的榮耀。

就走進去，對眾人說：“為甚麼大哭大嚷呢？孩子不是死了，是睡著了。”眾人就嘲笑他。耶穌把眾人都趕出去，帶著孩子的父母和跟隨他的門徒，進入孩子所在的房間。耶穌拉著孩子的手，對她說：“大利大，古米！”翻譯出來就是：“小女孩，我吩咐你起來！”那女孩子就立刻起來行走；那時她已經十二歲了。眾人就非常驚奇。

這是耶穌所行的第一件神蹟，是在加利利的迦拿行的。他顯出了自己的榮耀，他的門徒就信了他。

父啊，願你榮耀你的名！”當時有聲音從天上來，說：“我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀。”

我所熱切期待和盼望的，就是在凡事上我都不會羞愧，只要滿有膽量，不論生死，總要讓基督在我身上照常被尊為大。

耶穌講完了這些話，就舉目望天，說：“父啊，時候到了，求你榮耀你的兒子，讓兒子也榮耀你，

藉著他，你們信那使他從死人中復活、又給他榮耀的神，叫你們的信心和盼望都在於神。

那麼我要說，他們失足是要倒下去嗎？絕對不是！反而因為他們的過犯，救恩就臨到外族人，為了要激起他們奮發。

靠著耶穌基督結滿了公義的果子，使神得著榮耀和讚美。

講道的，應當按著神的聖言講；服事的，應當按著神所賜的力量服事，為要在一切事上，使神藉耶穌基督得榮耀。榮耀、權能都是他的，直到永永遠遠。阿們。

我的一切都是你的，你的一切也是我的，並且我因著他們得了榮耀。

於是法利賽人第二次把那從前瞎眼的人叫來，對他說：“你應當歸榮耀給神，我們知道這人是個罪人。”
