耶稣自己里面再次感到愤怒，来到坟墓那里。那坟墓是个洞穴，有一块石头放置在洞口。

“现在我的灵魂烦扰。我该说什么呢？说‘父啊，救我脱离这时刻’吗？但我正是为了这时刻而来的。

要与快乐的人一同快乐；与哀哭的人一同哀哭。

约瑟的爱弟之情升腾，他就急忙找个地方去哭。于是他进到自己的内室，在那里哭了一场。他洗了脸出来，克制住自己，说：“摆饭吧！”

耶稣愤怒地环视他们，又为他们心里刚硬而忧伤，就对那个人说：“伸出手来！”他一伸出来，手就复原了。

因为我们的大祭司不是不能同情我们的种种软弱，而是在各方面照着与我们相同的样式受过试探，只是没有犯罪。

基督在他肉身的日子里，曾经用强烈的呼号和泪水，向能救他脱离死亡的那一位献上了祈祷和恳求，就因着他的虔诚蒙了垂听。他虽然是儿子，还是从他所受的苦难中，学了顺从。

约瑟在所有侍立左右的人面前，再也克制不住自己，大声喊：“所有人都离开我出去！”当约瑟向兄弟们表明自己是谁时，没有人站在他身边。他就放声大哭；埃及人听到了，法老一家也听到了这事。约瑟对他的兄弟们说：“我是约瑟！我的父亲还活着吗？”他的兄弟们却不能回答他，因为他们在他面前都很惶恐。约瑟对他的兄弟们说：“请你们靠近我一些！”他们就靠近一些。他说：“我是你们的兄弟约瑟，就是被你们卖到埃及的约瑟。现在，不要因你们把我卖到这里而自忧自恨；要知道，是神在你们之前派遣了我，为要拯救生命。

耶稣回答他们，说：“唉，这个不信的世代！我还要和你们在一起多久呢？我还要容忍你们多久呢？把孩子带到我这里来吧！”

他带了彼得、雅各和约翰一起去。这时候，他开始忧惧起来，极其难过，对他们说：“我的灵魂很忧伤，几乎要死。你们留在这里，要警醒。”耶稣稍往前走，俯伏在地，祷告说，如果有可能，让那时刻离开他。

说完这些话，耶稣灵里烦扰，就指名说：“我确确实实地告诉你们：你们当中有一个人要出卖我。”
