耶稣又十分感动地来到坟墓前。那坟墓是个洞，洞口堵着一块大石头。

“我现在心里忧伤，说什么才好呢？求父救我离开这个时刻吗？然而，我原是为这个时刻来的。

要与喜乐的人同乐，与哀哭的人同哭。

约瑟爱弟之心油然而生，急忙出去找哭的地方。他到自己的房间里哭了一场。他洗过脸出来，控制着自己的感情，吩咐人摆饭。

耶稣生气地看着四周这些人，为他们的心刚硬而感到极其难过。祂对那人说：“把手伸出来！”那人一伸手，手就立刻复原了。

因为我们这位大祭司并非不能体恤我们的软弱，祂与我们一样曾经面对各样的试探，却从来没有犯罪。

基督在世为人的时候，曾经声泪俱下地祈求能救祂脱离死亡的上帝。祂因为敬虔而蒙了应允。基督虽然是上帝的儿子，仍然从所受的苦难中学习了顺服。

约瑟再也控制不住自己，于是令所有的随从都出去。这样，约瑟跟弟兄们相认时，没有外人在场。约瑟放声大哭，埃及人听见了他的哭声，法老家也听到了这个消息。约瑟对他的弟兄们说：“我是约瑟！我的父亲还健在吗？”他的弟兄们吓得一句话也说不出来。约瑟叫他们走近一点，等他们靠近了，便说：“我是你们卖到埃及的弟弟约瑟！现在，你们不要因为把我卖到这里而自怨自责。上帝差我先来这里，是为了保住大家的性命。

耶稣说：“唉，这不信的世代啊！我要跟你们在一起待多久，容忍你们多久呢？把他带到我这里吧。”

于是耶稣带着彼得、雅各和约翰向前走。祂觉得极其难过，非常伤痛，说：“我心里非常忧伤，几乎要死，你们留在这里警醒。”耶稣往前走了不远，俯伏在地祷告，如果可以，不要让那时刻临到祂。

说完这番话，耶稣心里忧伤，便宣布说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，你们中间有一个人要出卖我。”
