姊妹遣人告耶穌曰、主、爾所愛者病矣、

故遣人就耶穌曰、主所愛者病矣、

姊妹遣人往告耶穌曰、主、爾所愛者病矣、

姊若妹因遣人告耶穌曰：『主所寵者病矣！』

So the sisters sent word to Jesus,“ Lord, the one you love is sick.”

So the sisters sent a message to Jesus.“ Lord,” they told him,“ the one you love is sick.”

So the sisters sent to him, saying,“ Lord, he whom you love is ill.”

So the two sisters sent a message to Jesus telling him,“ Lord, your dear friend is very sick.”

So the sisters sent a message to him:“ Lord, the one you love is sick.”

Therefore the sisters sent to Him, saying,“ Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.”

The sisters therefore sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

So the sisters sent a message to Him:“ Lord, the one You love is sick.”

Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

So the sisters sent a message to Jesus,“ Lord, look, the one you love is sick.”

The sisters therefore sent to him, saying,“ Lord, behold, he for whom you have great affection is sick.”

( Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister, and Lazarus.)

Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.

Lying back on Jesus’ chest was one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.

This He said, and after this He* said to them,“ Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going so that I may awaken him from sleep.”

For whom the Lord loves He disciplines, And He punishes every son whom He accepts.”It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

So the Jews were saying,“ See how He loved him!”

As for the saints who are on the earth, They are the majestic ones; all my delight is in them.

Then He said,“ Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”

because he was longing for you all and was distressed because you had heard that he was sick.For indeed he was sick to the point of death, but God had mercy on him, and not only on him but also on me, so that I would not have sorrow upon sorrow.
