於是同道中之尚在人間者、乃將與彼等一齊被攝入雲、迎主於天際而永與相偕矣。望爾等彼此以斯言互相慰藉。

耶穌曰：『瑪麗！』瑪麗即回顧、以猶太語呼之曰：『辣波尼！』辣波尼之為言「夫子」也。

一日途次、耶穌入一村、有女名瑪大、館之家。厥妹瑪麗、靜坐足前聆訓。瑪大忙於治席、向主訴曰：『妹任我獨自操勞、主寧無顧？請命之起而襄助。』主應曰：『瑪大！瑪大！爾煩心焦慮、所務何多！然所需者、一而已矣！瑪麗所選、乃其善者、志之所在、不可奪也。』

告其主曰：「師詢客室何在、將與諸徒共食免難羔、」

耶穌曰：『爾入城、有某者、告之曰：「師云吾時已屆、欲與門徒在爾處度節。」』

安得烈先遇其弟西門、而告之曰：『吾儕已遇美使。』美使之為言、基督也。

故望兄弟、一本爾所素行、互相勸慰、互相鼓勵。

是故爾當奮發精神、一振垂疲之手足、
