After she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside.“ The Teacher is here,” she said,“ and is asking for you.”

And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.

And when she had said this, Martha went and called her sister Mary, saying privately,“ The Teacher is here and is asking for you.”

Now as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at the Lord’s feet, and heard his word.But Martha was cumbered about much serving; and she came up to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister did leave me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.But the Lord answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious and troubled about many things:but one thing is needful: for Mary hath chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

And ye shall say unto the master of the house, The Teacher saith unto thee, Where is the guest- chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall ye invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig- tree.

And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Teacher saith, My time is at hand; I keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

He findeth first his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah( which is, being interpreted, Christ).

Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do.

Wherefore lift up the hands that hang down, and the palsied knees;
