For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

And the witness is this, that God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.He that hath the Son hath the life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life.

No man can come to me, except the Father that sent me draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day.

And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

For as the Father raiseth the dead and giveth them life, even so the Son also giveth life to whom he will.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all that which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Thy dead shall live; my dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust; for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast forth the dead.

But as for me I know that my Redeemer liveth, And at last he will stand up upon the earth:And after my skin, even this body, is destroyed, Then without my flesh shall I see God;Whom I, even I, shall see, on my side, And mine eyes shall behold, and not as a stranger. My heart is consumed within me.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

For our citizenship is in heaven; whence also we wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:who shall fashion anew the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working whereby he is able even to subject all things unto himself.

Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection.

and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.For they that say such things make it manifest that they are seeking after a country of their own.And if indeed they had been mindful of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God; for he hath prepared for them a city.

Yet a little while, and the world beholdeth me no more; but ye behold me: because I live, ye shall live also.

For we know that if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.For verily in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our habitation which is from heaven:if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.For indeed we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened; not for that we would be unclothed, but that we would be clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up of life.Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.Being therefore always of good courage, and knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord( for we walk by faith, not by sight);we are of good courage, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;

O Lord, by these things men live; And wholly therein is the life of my spirit: Wherefore recover thou me, and make me to live.

and killed the Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.When Christ, who is our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.

That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we beheld, and our hands handled, concerning the Word of life( and the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare unto you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us);

For as the Father hath life in himself, even so gave he to the Son also to have life in himself:

But I am in a strait betwixt the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ; for it is very far better:

For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light.

For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; much more shall they that receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, even Jesus Christ.So then as through one trespass the judgment came unto all men to condemnation; even so through one act of righteousness the free gift came unto all men to justification of life.For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one shall the many be made righteous.

And he said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To- day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,

it is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life- giving spirit.Howbeit that is not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; then that which is spiritual.The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is of heaven.As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Then they also that are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

( as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were.

Else what shall they do that are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why then are they baptized for them?

But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of them that are asleep.For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his coming.Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet.The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.

knowing that he that raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also with Jesus, and shall present us with you.
