予之忍受一切、實為選民之故、欲使其恃基督耶穌以邀天恩、而承無疆之休。

是為耶穌顯靈蹟之始、行於加利利之嘉納村；聲譽日著、門徒乃信焉。

誡君民。莫之侮。

予為彼等之故而自聖、欲令彼等亦真能成聖也。

耶穌應曰：『此音之發、非為我故為爾等之益也。

耶穌聞訊、答使者曰：『斯病不致於死、惟以榮天主、亦以顯揚天主子。』
