do you say,‘ You are blaspheming’ to the one the Father set apart and sent into the world, because I said: I am the Son of God?

則父以為聖而遣入世者、自謂上帝子、僭妄云乎哉、

況父以之為聖、遣入世者、自謂上帝子、僭妄云乎哉、

則父所成聖而遣於世者、言我乃天主之子、爾何謂之曰、爾褻瀆乎、

況在父之所特聖、而遣入人世者、自稱為天主之子、而爾曹遂謂其僭妄乎？

what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said,‘ I am God’s Son’?

If that is true, what about the one the Father set apart as his very own? What about this one the Father sent into the world? Why do you charge me with saying a very evil thing? Is it because I said,‘ I am God’s Son’?

do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world,‘ You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘ I am the Son of God’?

why do you call it blasphemy when I say,‘ I am the Son of God’? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world.

are you saying of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world,‘ You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘ I am the Son of God’?

do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world,‘ You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘ I am the Son of God’?

say ye of him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

do you say,‘ You are blaspheming’ to the One the Father set apart and sent into the world, because I said: I am the Son of God?

Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Jesus responded to them,“ My Father is still working, and I am working also.”This is why the Jews began trying all the more to kill him: Not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal to God.

Don’t work for the food that perishes but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set his seal of approval on him.”

I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

The angel replied to her,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

I and the Father are one.”Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone him.Jesus replied,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these works are you stoning me?”“ We aren’t stoning you for a good work,” the Jews answered,“ but for blasphemy, because you— being a man— make yourself God.”

We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”

“ I can do nothing on my own. I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

and was appointed to be the powerful Son of God according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection of the dead.

The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers conspire together against the LORD and his Anointed One:

I have glorified you on the earth by completing the work you gave me to do.Now, Father, glorify me in your presence with that glory I had with you before the world existed.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.

“ I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”I will declare the LORD’s decree. He said to me,“ You are my Son; today I have become your Father.Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance and the ends of the earth your possession.You will break them with an iron scepter; you will shatter them like pottery.”So now, kings, be wise; receive instruction, you judges of the earth.Serve the LORD with reverential awe and rejoice with trembling.Pay homage to the Son or he will be angry and you will perish in your rebellion, for his anger may ignite at any moment. All who take refuge in him are happy.

Jesus heard that they had thrown the man out, and when he found him, he asked,“ Do you believe in the Son of Man?”“ Who is he, Sir, that I may believe in him?” he asked.Jesus answered,“ You have seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the LORD to glorify him.

The ancestors are theirs, and from them, by physical descent, came the Christ, who is God over all, praised forever. Amen.

As you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

He trusts in God; let God rescue him now— if he takes pleasure in him! For he said,‘ I am the Son of God.’”

But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

because I have given them the words you gave me. They have received them and have known for certain that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.

“ We have a law,” the Jews replied to him,“ and according to that law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.”

May they all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us, so that the world may believe you sent me.

Thomas responded to him,“ My Lord and my God!”

For the one whom God sent speaks God’s words, since he gives the Spirit without measure.

“ This is my servant; I strengthen him, this is my chosen one; I delight in him. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the nations.

The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, a Spirit of counsel and strength, a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.His delight will be in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, he will not execute justice by what he hears with his ears,but he will judge the poor righteously and execute justice for the oppressed of the land. He will strike the land with a scepter from his mouth, and he will kill the wicked with a command from his lips.Righteousness will be a belt around his hips; faithfulness will be a belt around his waist.

When the time came to completion, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

he says,“ It is not enough for you to be my servant raising up the tribes of Jacob and restoring the protected ones of Israel. I will also make you a light for the nations, to be my salvation to the ends of the earth.”This is what the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, says to one who is despised, to one abhorred by people, to a servant of rulers:“ Kings will see, princes will stand up, and they will all bow down because of the LORD, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel— and he has chosen you.”This is what the LORD says: I will answer you in a time of favor, and I will help you in the day of salvation. I will keep you, and I will appoint you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land, to make them possess the desolate inheritances,

Coasts and islands, listen to me; distant peoples, pay attention. The LORD called me before I was born. He named me while I was in my mother’s womb.He made my words like a sharp sword; he hid me in the shadow of his hand. He made me like a sharpened arrow; he hid me in his quiver.He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”

He will not break a bruised reed, and he will not put out a smoldering wick; he will faithfully bring justice.

But Jesus kept silent. The high priest said to him,“ I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”“ You have said it,” Jesus told him.“ But I tell you, in the future you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”Then the high priest tore his robes and said,“ He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? See, now you’ve heard the blasphemy.What is your decision?” They answered,“ He deserves death!”

For what the law could not do since it was weakened by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as a sin offering,

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love me, because I came from God and I am here. For I didn’t come on my own, but he sent me.

“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent me.The Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You have not heard his voice at any time, and you haven’t seen his form.

When the centurion and those with him, who were keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they were terrified and said,“ Truly this man was the Son of God!”

Since I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander for the peoples,
