況在父之所特聖、而遣入人世者、自稱為天主之子、而爾曹遂謂其僭妄乎？

what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said,‘ I am God’s Son’?

If that is true, what about the one the Father set apart as his very own? What about this one the Father sent into the world? Why do you charge me with saying a very evil thing? Is it because I said,‘ I am God’s Son’?

do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world,‘ You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘ I am the Son of God’?

why do you call it blasphemy when I say,‘ I am the Son of God’? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world.

do you say,‘ You are blaspheming’ to the one the Father set apart and sent into the world, because I said: I am the Son of God?

are you saying of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world,‘ You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘ I am the Son of God’?

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. (niv)

Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name.He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.” (niv)

But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him,“ I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.“ But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”Then the high priest tore his clothes and said,“ He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.What do you think?”“ He is worthy of death,” they answered. (niv)

For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, (niv)

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. (niv)

“ I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish— the very works that I am doing— testify that the Father has sent me.And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, (niv)

When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed,“ Surely he was the Son of God!” (niv)
