And you know that the Scriptures cannot be altered. So if those people who received God’s message were called‘ gods,’

經上的話是不能廢的；若那些承受神道的人尚且稱為神，

經上的話是不能廢的；如果那些領受上帝的道的人，上帝尚且稱他們為諸神，

經上的話是不能廢的；如果那些領受神的道的人，神尚且稱他們為諸神，

聖經上的話是不能廢的，既然上帝稱那些承受祂道的人為神，

聖經是不能廢除的，如果那些承受神的道的人，神尚且稱他們是神，

上帝的話所臨到的人，上帝尚且稱他們為神（經典又是不能廢的）；

而經上的話是不能廢除的。神既然稱那些承受他話語的人為神，

夫經不能廢也、既稱承上帝道者為神、

且經不可毀矣、若奉上帝命者、稱為上帝、

夫經不可毀也、若奉天主命者、稱之為神、

夫承天主聖言者、且得稱為神、而經文固不可廢也；

If he called them‘ gods,’ to whom the word of God came— and Scripture cannot be set aside—

We know that Scripture is always true. God spoke to some people and called them‘ gods.’

If he called them gods to whom the word of God came— and Scripture cannot be broken—

If he called those to whom the word of God came‘ gods’— and the Scripture cannot be broken—

If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came( and the Scripture cannot be nullified),

If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came( and the Scripture cannot be broken),

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came( and the scripture cannot be broken),

If He called those whom the word of God came to‘ gods’— and the Scripture cannot be broken—

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

If those people to whom the word of God came were called‘ gods’( and the scripture cannot be broken),

If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came( and the Scripture can’t be broken),

Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

But that doesn’t mean that the law has lost its force. It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the smallest point of God’s law to be overturned.

Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.

Then he said,“ When I was with you before, I told you that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled.”Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.And he said,“ Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day.

These things happened in fulfillment of the Scriptures that say,“ Not one of his bones will be broken,”and“ They will look on the one they pierced.”

Some time later, the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him,“ Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great.”

“ Brothers,” he said,“ the Scriptures had to be fulfilled concerning Judas, who guided those who arrested Jesus. This was predicted long ago by the Holy Spirit, speaking through King David.

Then Saul said,“ Let’s chase the Philistines all night and plunder them until sunrise. Let’s destroy every last one of them.” His men replied,“ We’ll do whatever you think is best.” But the priest said,“ Let’s ask God first.”So Saul asked God,“ Should we go after the Philistines? Will you help us defeat them?” But God made no reply that day.

Wasn’t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?”Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

Then David asked the Lord,“ Should I chase after this band of raiders? Will I catch them?” And the Lord told him,“ Yes, go after them. You will surely recover everything that was taken from you!”

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord has declared: Are you the one to build a house for me to live in?

Jehu son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him.“ Why should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord?” he asked the king.“ Because of what you have done, the Lord is very angry with you.

After they had nailed him to the cross, the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice.

But the Lord said to Shemaiah, the man of God,“ Say to Rehoboam son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all the Israelites in Judah and Benjamin:

I will raise up a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell the people everything I command him.I will personally deal with anyone who will not listen to the messages the prophet proclaims on my behalf.But any prophet who falsely claims to speak in my name or who speaks in the name of another god must die.’

But David learned of Saul’s plan and told Abiathar the priest to bring the ephod and ask the Lord what he should do.Then David prayed,“ O Lord, God of Israel, I have heard that Saul is planning to come and destroy Keilah because I am here.Will the leaders of Keilah betray me to him? And will Saul actually come as I have heard? O Lord, God of Israel, please tell me.” And the Lord said,“ He will come.”

He asked the Lord what he should do, but the Lord refused to answer him, either by dreams or by sacred lots or by the prophets.

Don’t you realize that I could ask my Father for thousands of angels to protect us, and he would send them instantly?But if I did, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled that describe what must happen now?”Then Jesus said to the crowd,“ Am I some dangerous revolutionary, that you come with swords and clubs to arrest me? Why didn’t you arrest me in the Temple? I was there teaching every day.But this is all happening to fulfill the words of the prophets as recorded in the Scriptures.” At that point, all the disciples deserted him and fled.

I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.

“ But the Lord said to me,‘ You have killed many men in the battles you have fought. And since you have shed so much blood in my sight, you will not be the one to build a Temple to honor my name.

One day Samuel said to Saul,“ It was the Lord who told me to anoint you as king of his people, Israel. Now listen to this message from the Lord!

Moses continued,“ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.

This is exactly what Isaiah the prophet had predicted:“ Lord, who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?”But the people couldn’t believe, for as Isaiah also said,

Jesus knew that his mission was now finished, and to fulfill Scripture he said,“ I am thirsty.”
