Jesus said,“ At my Father’s direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?”

耶稣对他们说：“我把很多从父而来的美好之事显给你们看了，你们是为哪一件要用石头砸死我呢？”

耶穌對他們說：「我從父顯出許多善事給你們看，你們是為哪一件拿石頭打我呢？」

耶穌回應他們：「我做了許多從父那裏來的善事給你們看，你們是為哪一件拿石頭打我呢？」

耶穌就問他們：「我將許多從父而來的美善之事顯給你們看，你們為了哪一件事拿石頭打我呢？」

耶穌對他們說：“我把許多從父那裡來的善事顯給你們看，你們因哪一件要用石頭打我呢？”

耶穌應時對他們說：『我把許多由父而來的善事顯給你們看；你們為其中的哪一件要用石頭打我呢？』

耶穌對他們說：「我把很多從父而來的美好之事顯給你們看了，你們是為哪一件要用石頭砸死我呢？」

耶穌曰、我由父多以善行示爾、爾因何行以石擊我乎、

耶穌曰、我奉父命、以多善事示爾、爾為何事、欲石擊我乎、

耶穌曰、我由我父、以多善事示爾、此諸事中、爾為何事以石擊我、

耶穌詰之曰：『予所示爾種種善工、莫非淵源自父、果胡為而欲以石相擊耶？』

but Jesus said to them,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”

But Jesus said to them,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which good work are you throwing stones at me for?”

Jesus answered them,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?”

Jesus replied,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these works are you stoning me?”

Jesus replied to them,“ I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?”

Jesus answered them,“ Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”

Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from the Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

Jesus replied,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which of these works are you stoning Me for?”

Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

Jesus said to them,“ I have shown you many good deeds from the Father. For which one of them are you going to stone me?”

Jesus answered them,“ I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me?”

Then the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest. He stood before the people and said,“ This is what God says: Why do you disobey the Lord’s commands and keep yourselves from prospering? You have abandoned the Lord, and now he has abandoned you!”Then the leaders plotted to kill Zechariah, and King Joash ordered that they stone him to death in the courtyard of the Lord’s Temple.That was how King Joash repaid Jehoiada for his loyalty— by killing his son. Zechariah’s last words as he died were,“ May the Lord see what they are doing and avenge my death!”

The next morning Jonathan spoke with his father about David, saying many good things about him.“ The king must not sin against his servant David,” Jonathan said.“ He’s never done anything to harm you. He has always helped you in any way he could.Have you forgotten about the time he risked his life to kill the Philistine giant and how the Lord brought a great victory to all Israel as a result? You were certainly happy about it then. Why should you murder an innocent man like David? There is no reason for it at all!”So Saul listened to Jonathan and vowed,“ As surely as the Lord lives, David will not be killed.”

the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.”

But I have a greater witness than John— my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.

Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless— like chasing the wind.

I love them, but they try to destroy me with accusations even as I am praying for them!They repay evil for good, and hatred for my love.

They repay me evil for good. I am sick with despair.

“ People of Israel, listen! God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know.

So Jesus explained,“ I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he is doing. In fact, the Father will show him how to do even greater works than healing this man. Then you will truly be astonished.

Don’t believe me unless I carry out my Father’s work.

And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

We must not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because Cain had been doing what was evil, and his brother had been doing what was righteous.

Jesus replied,“ I have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father’s name.
