“ I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them.“ The works that I do in my Father’s name testify about me.

耶穌曰：『予昔已告爾、而爾不之信也。予因吾父之名、所行諸事、已足為予證明、

Jesus answered,“ I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me,

Jesus answered,“ I did tell you. But you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name are a witness for me.

Jesus answered them,“ I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me,

Jesus replied,“ I have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father’s name.

Jesus answered them,“ I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these testify of Me.

Jesus answered them,“ I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, these bear witness of me.

“ I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them.“ The works that I do in My Father’s name testify about Me.

Jesus replied,“ I told you and you do not believe. The deeds I do in my Father’s name testify about me.

Jesus answered them,“ I told you, and you don’t believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name, these testify about me.

But if I am doing them and you don’t believe me, believe the works. This way you will know and understand that the Father is in me and I in the Father.”

Jesus said to them,“ Truly I tell you, before Abraham was, I am.”

Jesus responded to them,“ My Father is still working, and I am working also.”This is why the Jews began trying all the more to kill him: Not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal to God.Jesus replied,“ Truly I tell you, the Son is not able to do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son likewise does these things.For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he is doing, and he will show him greater works than these so that you will be amazed.And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to whom he wants.The Father, in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,so that all people may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.“ Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.“ Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son to have life in himself.And he has granted him the right to pass judgment, because he is the Son of Man.Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear his voiceand come out— those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of condemnation.“ I can do nothing on my own. I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.“ If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true.There is another who testifies about me, and I know that the testimony he gives about me is true.You sent messengers to John, and he testified to the truth.I don’t receive human testimony, but I say these things so that you may be saved.John was a burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.“ But I have a greater testimony than John’s because of the works that the Father has given me to accomplish. These very works I am doing testify about me that the Father has sent me.The Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You have not heard his voice at any time, and you haven’t seen his form.You don’t have his word residing in you, because you don’t believe the one he sent.You pore over the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life in them, and yet they testify about me.But you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.“ I do not accept glory from people,but I know you— that you have no love for God within you.I have come in my Father’s name, and yet you don’t accept me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.

Jesus spoke to them again:“ I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”

Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Otherwise, believe because of the works themselves.

This man came to him at night and said,“ Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God, for no one could perform these signs you do unless God were with him.”

So the chief priests and the Pharisees convened the Sanhedrin and were saying,“ What are we going to do since this man is doing many signs?

However, many from the crowd believed in him and said,“ When the Messiah comes, he won’t perform more signs than this man has done, will he?”

Therefore I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”

Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples that are not written in this book.

how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? This salvation had its beginning when it was spoken of by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were under the tyranny of the devil, because God was with him.

“ Fellow Israelites, listen to these words: This Jesus of Nazareth was a man attested to you by God with miracles, wonders, and signs that God did among you through him, just as you yourselves know.

Jesus replied,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these works are you stoning me?”

Even though he had performed so many signs in their presence, they did not believe in him.
