The one who comes from heaven is above all.He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— (niv)

“ I baptize with water,” John replied,“ but among you stands one you do not know.He is the one who comes after me, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.” (niv)

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. (niv)

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (niv)

who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (niv)

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. (niv)

and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. (niv)
