Then he said,“ I tell you the truth, you will all see heaven open and the angels of God going up and down on the Son of Man, the one who is the stairway between heaven and earth.”

又说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，你们将要看见天开了，神的使者上去下来在人子身上。”

我实实在在地告诉你们，你们会看见天门敞开，上帝的天使以人子为梯上上下下。”

又对他说：“我实实在在告诉你们，你们要看见天开了，神的众使者在人子的身上，上去下来。”

耶稣又对他说：“我确确实实地告诉你们：你们将会看见天敞开了，神的天使们在人子上头，上去下来。”

又說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，你們將要看見天開了，神的使者上去下來在人子身上。」

他又說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，你們將要看見天開了，上帝的使者在人子身上，上去下來。」

他又說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，你們將要看見天開了，神的使者在人子身上，上去下來。」

我實實在在地告訴你們，你們會看見天門敞開，上帝的天使以人子為梯上上下下。」

又對他說：“我實實在在告訴你們，你們要看見天開了，神的眾使者在人子的身上，上去下來。”

又對他說：『我實實在在地告訴你們，你們這就要看見天開着，上帝的使者在人子身上、上上下下呢！』

耶穌又對他說：「我確確實實地告訴你們：你們將會看見天敞開了，神的天使們在人子上頭，上去下來。」

又曰、我誠語汝、爾將見天開、上帝之使、陟降於人子上矣、

又曰、我誠告爾、爾將見天開、上帝使者、陟降於人子上矣、

又曰、我誠告爾、爾將見天開、而天主之使者、陟降於人子上矣、

既又謂之曰：『我實語爾、爾曹將見上天洞開、而天主之神使升降於人子之上焉。』

He then added,“ Very truly I tell you, you will see‘ heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.”

Then he said to the disciples,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. You will see heaven open. You will see the angels of God going up and coming down on the Son of Man.”

And he said to him,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

Then he said,“ Truly I tell you, you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

And He* said to him,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

And He said to him,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye shall see the heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Then He said,“ I assure you: You will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

He continued,“ I tell all of you the solemn truth– you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

He said to him,“ Most certainly, I tell you all, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

As he slept, he dreamed of a stairway that reached from the earth up to heaven. And he saw the angels of God going up and down the stairway.

And he told them,“ Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand!”

For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds.And I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.”

After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him.

One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened,

On July 31 of my thirtieth year, while I was with the Judean exiles beside the Kebar River in Babylon, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

As Jesus came up out of the water, he saw the heavens splitting apart and the Holy Spirit descending on him like a dove.

Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him.

Jesus said,“ I Am. And you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others— the armies of heaven— praising God and saying,

Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war.

He saw the sky open, and something like a large sheet was let down by its four corners.

“ But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne.

As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient One and was led into his presence.He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal— it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.

Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified,

Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory.

Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.

“ I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.

Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said,“ Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.”

No one has ever gone to heaven and returned. But the Son of Man has come down from heaven.And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,

Enoch, who lived in the seventh generation after Adam, prophesied about these people. He said,“ Listen! The Lord is coming with countless thousands of his holy ones

They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.

Therefore, angels are only servants— spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.

As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white robed men suddenly stood among them.“ Men of Galilee,” they said,“ why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!”

“ I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber!

And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels,

For the Son of Man must die, as the Scriptures declared long ago. But how terrible it will be for the one who betrays him. It would be far better for that man if he had never been born!”

As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes.

I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire,and a river of fire was pouring out, flowing from his presence. Millions of angels ministered to him; many millions stood to attend him. Then the court began its session, and the books were opened.

But from now on the Son of Man will be seated in the place of power at God’s right hand.”

“ I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life.

“ I tell you the truth, when you were young, you were able to do as you liked; you dressed yourself and went wherever you wanted to go. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and others will dress you and take you where you don’t want to go.”

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,“ Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”“ Well,” they replied,“ some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”Then he asked them,“ But who do you say I am?”Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

“ I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.“ And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice— the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live.

Jesus said,“ I tell you the truth, Moses didn’t give you bread from heaven. My Father did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven.

So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,“ Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”

So Jesus explained,“ I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.

Jesus replied,“ I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.

But Jesus replied,“ Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place even to lay his head.”

“ Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, the man who is my partner,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.“ Strike down the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn against the lambs.

I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message.

I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.”Now Jesus was deeply troubled, and he exclaimed,“ I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me!”

I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy.

And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man.

Jesus replied,“ Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory.I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels— a plentiful harvest of new lives.

I tell you the truth, anyone who obeys my teaching will never die!”

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

So Jesus said again,“ I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you cannot have eternal life within you.

so he explained it to them:“ I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep.

Jesus answered,“ I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I Am!”

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the truth, you want to be with me because I fed you, not because you understood the miraculous signs.

Jesus answered,“ Die for me? I tell you the truth, Peter— before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.

At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.
