但这并不是说神的话语落了空，因为由以色列所生的，并不都是以色列人；

不被耶和华算为有罪、心里没有诡诈的人，是蒙福的！

神必然善待以色列，善待那些心里纯洁的人。

于是耶稣对信他的犹太人说：“你们如果住在我的话语中，就真是我的门徒了，

他们是以色列人：儿子的名份、荣耀、诸约、所赐的律法、礼仪、各样应许，都是他们的；

在他们口中找不出虚假；他们是毫无瑕疵的。

所以，你们要脱去一切恶毒、一切诡诈、伪善、嫉妒，以及一切的诽谤，

实际上，我们才是受过割礼的人，就是藉着神的灵事奉，在基督耶稣里夸耀，不依靠肉体的人。

他们回答说：“亚伯拉罕是我们的父！”耶稣说：“如果你们是亚伯拉罕的儿女，就会做亚伯拉罕所做的事。

其实外表上做犹太人的，并不是犹太人；外表上、肉身上的割礼，也不是割礼。然而，在内心做犹太人的才是犹太人；同样，内心的割礼才是割礼——不是靠着律法条文而是靠着圣灵；这样的人得到的称赞不是从人来的，而是从神来的。

他没有犯过罪，在他口中也找不出诡诈；
