Philip found Nathanael and said to him,“ We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

腓力找到拿旦業，對他說：「我們發現了摩西在律法上所寫的，和先知們所記的那一位。他就是約瑟的兒子，拿撒勒人耶穌。」

腓力遇拿但業曰、摩西律及先知所載者、我儕已遇之、即約瑟之子、拿撒勒人耶穌也、

斐理伯遇納大那、告之曰：『摩西書及諸先知所預言者、我儕今已遇之、即若瑟之子、納匝勒人耶穌是已。』

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote— Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one whom Moses wrote about in the Law. The prophets also wrote about him. He is Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

Philip went to look for Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth.”

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law( and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”

Philip* found Nathanael and* said to him,“ We have found Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the prophets also wrote: Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!”

Philip found Nathanael and said to him,“ We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote— Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law( and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!”

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets also wrote about– Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

Philip found Nathanael, and said to him,“ We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him.But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’And if you say in your heart,‘ How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’—when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.

And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

Then he said to them,“ These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, so that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled, that he would be called a Nazarene.

And all spoke well of him and marveled at the gracious words that were coming from his mouth. And they said,“ Is not this Joseph’s son?”

And the crowds said,“ This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.”

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope.For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me.

Simon Peter, Thomas( called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together.

So he asked them again,“ Whom do you seek?” And they said,“ Jesus of Nazareth.”

But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.

The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

“ Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know—

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

In that day the branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be the pride and honor of the survivors of Israel.

Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age, being the son( as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli,

Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read,“ Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.”

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

They answered him,“ Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them,“ I am he.” Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,

I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”

Nathanael said to him,“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him,“ Come and see.”Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him,“ Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”Nathanael said to him,“ How do you know me?” Jesus answered him,“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.”

and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said,“ You also were with the Nazarene, Jesus.”

But Peter said,“ I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”

And I answered,‘ Who are you, Lord?’ And he said to me,‘ I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.’

Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

And say to him,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts,“ Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: for he shall branch out from his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord.

They said,“ Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say,‘ I have come down from heaven’?”

“ I myself was convinced that I ought to do many things in opposing the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
