他們卻強留他說：『請同我們住下吧，因為將近晚上了，日頭已經平西了。』耶穌就進去，要同他們住下。

一切勞苦背重擔的人哪，來找我吧，我便給你們安歇。我心裏柔和謙卑，你們要負我的軛來跟我學，你們心裏就可得安歇。因為我的軛是好負的，我的擔子是輕省的。』

愛我的、我也愛他們；懇切尋求我的、必尋得到我。

拿但業對腓力說：『拿撒勒還能出甚麼好的麼？』腓力對他說：『你來看！』

於是撒馬利亞人來見耶穌，求他同他們一起住；耶穌便在那裏住了兩天。

凡父所給我的人、必來找我；來找我的、我一定不把他趕出，

你看，我站在門外敲門；若有人聽見我的聲音來開門，我就要進去找他，同他喫飯，他也同我喫飯。

保羅在自己所租的房子住了兩整年；凡進來見他的人，他都歡迎接待。他坦然無懼地宣傳上帝之國，教授主耶穌基督的事，毫無阻礙。

猶大（不是加畧人猶大）問耶穌說：『主啊，為甚麼你要將自己向我們顯現，而不向世人呢？』耶穌回答他說：『人若愛我，就必遵守我的話；我父必愛他，我們也必來找他，將他做我們的住處。
