對曰：『來觀。』二徒即往視其居；時已正申、當晚遂同宿。

“ Come,” he replied,“ and you will see.” So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon.

因婦曾證云、彼以我所行者悉告我、是以撒瑪利亞人就耶穌、求其偕居、遂居彼二日、

凡父所賜我之人、必就我、就我者、我不逐之於外、

我立於門前叩門、有聞我聲而啟門者、我必入其家、我與彼、彼與我、同席飲食、

保羅居自賃之屋二年、凡來見者、無不接之、宣天主國、以耶穌之事、毅然訓人、無有禁之者、

猶大非稱以斯加畧之猶大、謂耶穌曰、主、顯己於我儕、不顯己於世、何歟、耶穌曰、人若愛我、必守我言、我父必愛之、我與父原文作我儕必就之、而與之居、
