他们就极力挽留他，说：“时候晚了，太阳已经平西了，请与我们一起住下吧！”耶稣就进去，与他们一起住下。

“所有劳苦和背负重担的人哪，到我这里来吧！我将使你们得到安息。你们当负起我的轭，向我学，因为我心地柔和、谦卑。这样，你们就将寻得灵魂的安息。要知道，我的轭是容易负的，我的担子是轻省的。”

爱我的，我就爱他们；切切寻找我的，必找到我。

拿旦业对他说：“拿撒勒还能出什么好的吗？”腓力说：“你来看吧！”

这样，撒马利亚人来到耶稣那里的时候，请求他住在他们那里。于是耶稣在那里住了两天。

凡是父赐给我的人，都会到我这里来，而到我这里来的人，我绝不丢弃，

看哪，我站在门口敲门。如果有人听见我的声音就开门，我就会进到他那里，而且我与他、他与我，将要一同吃宴席。

保罗在自己租的房子里住了整整两年，所有来到他那里的人，他都欢迎。他宣讲神的国、教导有关主耶稣基督的事，满有胆量、没有拦阻。

不是加略人的那个犹大问耶稣：“主啊，怎么会这样呢？你为什么要向我们显明自己，而不向世人显明呢？”耶稣回答说：“如果有人爱我，他就会遵守我的话语，我父也会爱他，而且我们将要来到他那里，并且在他那里安置我们的住处。
