Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi,( which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked,“ What do you want?” They said,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are you staying?”

Then Jesus turned around and saw them following. He asked,“ What do you want?” They said,“ Rabbi, where are you staying?” Rabbi means Teacher.

When Jesus turned and noticed them following him, he asked them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to him,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are you staying?”

And Jesus turned and saw them following, and* said to them,“ What are you seeking?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi( which translated means Teacher), where are You staying?”

Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them,“ What do you seek?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi”( which is to say, when translated, Teacher),“ where are You staying?”

And Jesus turned, and beheld them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? And they said unto him, Rabbi( which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher), where abidest thou?

When Jesus turned and noticed them following Him, He asked them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are You staying?”

Jesus turned around and saw them following and said to them,“ What do you want?” So they said to him,“ Rabbi”( which is translated Teacher),“ where are you staying?”

Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee,[ or] to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people[ shall be] my people, and thy God my God:

The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.

And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all[ men] come to him.

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master,[ even] Christ; and all ye are brethren.

And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

One[ thing] have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Blessed[ is] the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings’ courts.But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.This is[ he], of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

She[ is] a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy[ is every one] that retaineth her.

And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what[ is] the cause wherefore ye are come?

And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest[ thy flock] to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.

He that walketh with wise[ men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,

Therefore came I[ unto you] without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Happy[ are] thy men, happy[ are] these thy servants, which stand continually before thee,[ and] that hear thy wisdom.
