The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.“ I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming– and is now here– when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself,and he has granted the Son authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

The Father loves the Son and has placed all things under his authority.The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him.

He trusts in God– let God, if he wants to, deliver him now because he said,‘ I am God’s Son’!”

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight to know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life.

and said to him,“ If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written,‘ He will command his angels concerning you’ and‘ with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”

Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

No one has ever seen God. The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.

We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God!”

Thomas replied to him,“ My Lord and my God!”
