but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, even the blood of Christ:

Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Now the passage of the scripture which he was reading was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before his shearer is dumb, So he openeth not his mouth:

and he looked upon Jesus as he walked, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God!

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, Come.

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities.

who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are thy ways, thou King of the ages.

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.

And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads.

for the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.

And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they that are bidden to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are true words of God.

These are they that were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they that follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, to be the firstfruits unto God and unto the Lamb.

And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, every one whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.

These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they also shall overcome that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

Let us rejoice and be exceeding glad, and let us give the glory unto him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood;

And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues; and he spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb.

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.

Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household:and if the household be too little for a lamb, then shall he and his neighbor next unto his house take one according to the number of the souls; according to every man’s eating ye shall make your count for the lamb.Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old: ye shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:and ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at even.And they shall take of the blood, and put it on the two side- posts and on the lintel, upon the houses wherein they shall eat it.And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.Eat not of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with the inwards thereof.And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.And thus shall ye eat it: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is Jehovah’s passover.For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first- born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Jehovah.And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold, the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt- offering?And Abraham said, God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt- offering, my son: so they went both of them together.

And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins.

who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father:

and Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a man that is in readiness into the wilderness:and the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a solitary land: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb that hath been slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing.And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things that are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever.

and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb’s book of life.And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him;

who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be borne in its own times;

And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands;and they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation unto our God who sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb.

even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before Jehovah.

Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin- offering in the place of the sanctuary, seeing it is most holy, and he hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Jehovah?

so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof.And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb.

Take with you words, and return unto Jehovah: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good: so will we render as bullocks the offering of our lips.

Wherefore it behooved him in all things to be made like unto his brethren, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

But the Levites shall do the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations; and among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.

And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto Jehovah: he- lambs a year old without blemish, two day by day, for a continual burnt- offering.The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;and the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal- offering, mingled with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil.It is a continual burnt- offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savor, an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.And the drink- offering thereof shall be the fourth part of a hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shalt thou pour out a drink- offering of strong drink unto Jehovah.And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meal- offering of the morning, and as the drink- offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.And on the sabbath day two he- lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour for a meal- offering, mingled with oil, and the drink- offering thereof:this is the burnt- offering of every sabbath, besides the continual burnt- offering, and the drink- offering thereof.

And Jehovah said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy fathers’ house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary; and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
