交叉引用

  • Luke 3:15-18
Everyone was expecting the Messiah to come soon, and they were eager to know whether John might be the Messiah.John answered their questions by saying,“ I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am— so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.He is ready to separate the chaff from the wheat with his winnowing fork. Then he will clean up the threshing area, gathering the wheat into his barn but burning the chaff with never ending fire.”John used many such warnings as he announced the Good News to the people.
  • John 10:24
The people surrounded him and asked,“ How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
  • Acts 13:25
As John was finishing his ministry he asked,‘ Do you think I am the Messiah? No, I am not! But he is coming soon— and I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the sandals on his feet.’
  • John 5:33-36
In fact, you sent investigators to listen to John the Baptist, and his testimony about me was true.Of course, I have no need of human witnesses, but I say these things so you might be saved.John was like a burning and shining lamp, and you were excited for a while about his message. But I have a greater witness than John— my teachings and my miracles. The Father gave me these works to accomplish, and they prove that he sent me.
  • Acts 19:4
Paul said,“ John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”
  • Matthew 21:23-32
When Jesus returned to the Temple and began teaching, the leading priests and elders came up to him. They demanded,“ By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?”“ I’ll tell you by what authority I do these things if you answer one question,” Jesus replied.“ Did John’s authority to baptize come from heaven, or was it merely human?” They talked it over among themselves.“ If we say it was from heaven, he will ask us why we didn’t believe John. But if we say it was merely human, we’ll be mobbed because the people believe John was a prophet.”So they finally replied,“ We don’t know.” And Jesus responded,“ Then I won’t tell you by what authority I do these things.“ But what do you think about this? A man with two sons told the older boy,‘ Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.’The son answered,‘ No, I won’t go,’ but later he changed his mind and went anyway. Then the father told the other son,‘ You go,’ and he said,‘ Yes, sir, I will.’ But he didn’t go.“ Which of the two obeyed his father?” They replied,“ The first.” Then Jesus explained his meaning:“ I tell you the truth, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do.For John the Baptist came and showed you the right way to live, but you didn’t believe him, while tax collectors and prostitutes did. And even when you saw this happening, you refused to believe him and repent of your sins.
  • John 2:18

and present them to the Levitical priests or the judge on duty at that time. They will hear the case and declare the verdict. You must carry out the verdict they announce and the sentence they prescribe at the place the Lord chooses. You must do exactly what they say. After they have interpreted the law and declared their verdict, the sentence they impose must be fully executed; do not modify it in any way.
