To be a child of God has nothing to do with human parents. Children of God are not born because of human choice or because a husband wants them to be born. They are born because of what God does.

Abraham didn’t do this.You do the works of your father.” They said to him,“ We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.”

Don’t think to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

The children struggled together within her. She said,“ If it is like this, why do I live?” She went to inquire of Yahweh.

Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.
